Connections: People, land and sea
In 2022 we worked with the IAG Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander Employee Network Group and digital artist Marcus Lee, a descendant of the Karajarri Peoples to create a bespoke design that represented not just IAG's RAP commitment, but also the peoples of IAG, launching it in 2023.
The stylised purple shapes represent Australia and Torres Strait Islands. Three circular meeting places with dotted rings symbolise three pillars from the IAG Indigenous Engagement Strategy: People, Business and Community. Graphic lines radiating outward from the meeting places refer to IAG’s focus in growing resilience, building cultural connection and addressing systemic inequalities.
The aim of the design is to help our Indigenous peoples can feel connected, feel recognised and help enable all our employees to stand together to embrace reconciliation.
