- 20 weeks full pay, or 40 weeks half pay
- Available from the day you start
- Primary and secondary carer neutral
We’re proud to be certified as a Family Inclusive Workplace by Family Friendly Workplaces, a community of progressive organisations united in driving global and sustainable change by creating family-friendly workplaces. We respect your life commitments outside of work, offer leading policies and practices that foster a family-inclusive culture, and take an expansive view on family – because ‘family’ these days is anything but traditional.

Feel connected and recognised
Our ability to be ready for anything comes from our deep sense of culture and community. Annual team and individual volunteer days create lasting connections that leave an impact on the world, and our strong and proactive employee network groups celebrate the best of what makes us, us while helping to influence new perspectives and considerations in our business. Digitally we connect broadly using Viva Engage, and in person we thrive in sharing spaces that centre around the ability to collaborate, communicate and create.
We believe in recognising in the moment so the little things don’t get missed when they grow into big outcomes. Our globally recognised Shout Outs | He toa Takitini program is used by 90% of all IAG leaders to recognise great work.
Have meaningful impact
Our benefits aren't just about the individual, they start with community. Because together we make your world a safer place.
Opening doors to deadly careers
We’re committed to supporting a more unified future with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and Māori peoples and providing employment avenues for humanitarian arrivals into Australia. We partner with Career Trackers and Career Seekers to provide meaningful employment opportunities for those of our longest living culture and our newest country arrivals. We also create shared connections by encouraging IAG people to volunteer their time through mentoring, coaching and connecting with our Career Trackers and Seekers participants. Find out more about our deadly careers here.
Safer Communities
We focus on helping communities in Australia and New Zealand to be better prepared for, adapt and respond to the impacts of natural hazards and climate change. We do this by reducing risk, playing a role in community-led resilience and managing our own climate risk and impacts. It's why we’ve pledged to be carbon neutral by 2030 and why we hold regular hands-on resilience events for our people in the community, with the community. Find out more about how we help to prepare the community here.
More than insurance
IAG has a long history of innovating, researching and pushing the boundaries. We’re a tech and research facility, a hub for climate change experts and a centre for resilience design. From our Firemark ventures and innovation labs to our Natural Perils meteorologists and climate change research teams, we're constantly working on diverse and important ways to help make your world a safer place.
And that’s by no means all. When you join IAG, you’re joining a large Trans-Tasman business were you can thrive.
