Robert Cutler

BA, LLB — Group General Counsel

Robert Cutler was appointed as IAG’s Group General Counsel, effective 4 April 2024.

He joined IAG after a 33-year career with Clayton Utz, which included six years as Chief Executive Partner and Board Member. Robert was also a Director of the not-for-profit Clayton Utz Foundation.

In addition to his legal career, Robert has extensive governance experience as a member of various boards, and has advised on regulatory and risk management matters for private and public organisations.

He is a former Member of the Business Council of Australia’s Economic Policy & Competitiveness Committee and Regulatory & Compliance Committee.

Robert is a member of the Law Society of NSW and a Federal Government BoardLinks Champion.
