IAG, whose brands include NRMA Insurance, CGU and WFI, has extra claims personnel standing by to lodge claims for customers impacted by severe weather across Victoria, New South Wales, the ACT and Tasmania.
IAG is urging everyone to follow the advice of the emergency authorities and call 000 in an emergency.
IAG Major Events Response Manager Julia Attard said IAG is closely monitoring the weather systems affecting large parts of the east coast.
Where it’s safe to do so, IAG assessors and partner builders are on the ground supporting impacted customers.
We are ready to help our customers lodge their claims and provide immediate assistance, including emergency Make-Safe repairs, temporary accommodation if required and emergency financial assistance.Julia Attard
