The CGU STRIVE Podcast expands on the insurance and economic insights published in CGU’s STRIVE reporting series, the latest of which, STRIVE 3.0, was published last month.
CGU Executive General Manager Damien Gallagher said: “We understand how complex insurance can be and the challenges that small businesses face. This is what inspired the genesis of CGU’s STRIVE Reports, wanting to provide a tool to help brokers breakdown some of that complexity for their customers."

Podcast host, CGU Executive Manager Broker Relationships, Pegah Vaghaye said the podcast will enable CGU to share the emerging insurance trends and economic issues that impact SMEs and communities.
“We have an incredible array of industry leaders and special guests who share their knowledge and expertise with our listeners. Podcast topics are wide ranging, covering everything from workforce trends, climate change and Australia’s journey to net zero, through to cyber risk.”
The debut episode focuses on the growing generational divide within Australia’s workforce, and how by deepening understanding of the needs and expectations of each generational group, businesses are better able to attract and retain talent.
Ms Vaghaye said, “We hope the podcast deepens listeners knowledge across a range of important topics and ignites more futuristic thinking so businesses can better prepare for what’s ahead.”
